The Gomoa East District Assembly, led by District Chief Executive Hon. Margaret Naana Ackom, has organized a skills training program for Persons with Disabilities in the district.[PWDs]

The engagement, held in a spacious church auditorium, brought together dozens of PWDs to be equipped with knowledge and skills to enhance their livelihoods and promote economic inclusion.

Addressing the participants, Hon. Ackom reiterated the Assembly’s commitment to ensuring that no one is left behind in the district’s development agenda. She noted that empowering PWDs through skills training is key to fostering self-reliance and dignity.

The initiative forms part of the DCE’s broader social intervention efforts to support vulnerable groups and create opportunities for all residents of Gomoa East.
