The people of Potsin in the Gomoa East District celebrated this year’s Akwambo Festival with rich cultural displays, traditional rites, and a renewed call for unity and development within the community. The colorful festival brought together chiefs, queen mothers, government officials, youth groups, and residents to honor their traditions and appreciate the blessings of the past year.
Addressing the gathering, community leaders emphasized the importance of preserving cultural heritage while promoting peace and development in the area. The celebration featured traditional drumming and dancing, cultural processions, and performances that showcased the rich customs of the Gomoa people.
